For mountain bikers and cyclists there are 16 signposted bike routes with various lengths and grades between 300 and 1000 metres available in the Großarltal. More than 140 km signposted and marked mountain bike routes lure you out to discover the Pongau area by bike.
For mountain bikers who want more there is the around 10 km long Flow mountain bike single trail. It starts at the peak station of the Panoramabahn Großarl and leads through the fantastic landscape past a reservoir and a waterfall with a selfie point, into the valley.
Not everyone is trained up for biking in the mountains. For those, it's easier with an e-bike. You can get to any mountain restaurant with the support of an electric motor. However: An e-bike is not a motorcycle, but a bike and nothing happens without pedalling (unfortunately). You can bring your own e-bike or rent an e-bike in the Großarltal. Joy, fun and no age limit – e-biking is totally young and trendy!
